How to Sidechain in FL Studio

Some Nuro Audio plugins support a sidechain input, such as the SIDECHAIN compression circuit in Xrack Pro.

To use the sidechain feature of a Nuro Audio plugin in FL Studio, follow these steps:

1. Load the Nuro Audio plugin on a mixer track in FL Studio on the track you want to process
2. Click the Detailed Settings gear:

3. Click the Plugin Options tab > Processing

4. Make sure the Sidechain input is turned on (with the small light), then set the input source (which corresponds to the audio track you want to use to trigger the sound source.).

Now, you're set up and ready to use the sidechain input. In the example of Xrack Pro, just turn up the SIDECHAIN AMOUNT value to use the sidechain compressor feature.
